

Four-day Tours in Umbria and Tuscany
The 4-day Tour PACKAGE includes:| 4 breakfasts,* 2 cooking lessons of approximately 4 hours; 1 dinner, 1 lunch 2 full day excursions; 1 half-day excursion; 4 nights accommodations and use of all facilities at the farm, * in your apartment you will find coffee, milk, biscuits, jams, butter and sugar. |
Before each excursion you will receive maps and turistic information about the places you will go to visit and a time table of the tour.
The excursions will occur in a very confortable Volkswagen Minivan with eight seats and air conditioned. The driver is a licensed tour guide who will provide you with information and suggestions during your excursions.
Description of the 4-day Cooking Tours in Umbria and Tuscany
| Day 1 |
| Arrival at the country farm "La volpe e l'uva". Check-in your apartment for the week at 2:00pm. Hands-on cooking lesson starts around 5:00pm. You will prepare a four course dinner. For dinner you will dine on your creations accompanied by our wines |
| Day 2 | |
| The full day excursion take place from 8.00 - 19.00. You will visit the city of Siena. Surrounded by olive groves and the vineyards of Chianti, Siena is one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany. You will visit the city in the morning: the Piazza del Campo which is its heart, and the Duomo. In the afternoon the cardriver will bring you to visit the socalled " way of the wines": you will visit the beautifull villages of Montalcino, Pienza , and Montepulciano. |

| Day 3 | |
| Hands-on cooking lesson starts around 10.00 am. You will prepare a four course lunch and you will eat your creations accompanied by our wines. The half/day tour take place from 4.00 pm. You will visit the mystical city of Assisi, a beautiful medieval town based on Mount Subasio, overlooking a peaceful Umbrian landscape. Assisi is essentially known for the fact that it’s the place of birth of St. Francis in and that of Santa Chiara. You will visit the city and the famous churches like the St. Francis Church filled with spectacular frescoes by Giotto, and also the Eremo delle Carceri (a peacefully isolated church and monastery in the wooded slopes just outside Assisi's walls, this was the first monastic home of St. Francis' and his followers) and the St. Damiano church (A church and monastery outside the city walls is where the crucifix spoke to St. Francis, prompting him to repair it and begin his ministry. | Day 4 | |
| The full day excursion take place from 8.00 - 19.00. You will visit the city of Arezzo. Arezzo is found to the far east of Tuscany, forming the third point of a triangle with Florence and Siena. Arezzo may be famous for many things - gold, the Etruscans, the most important antiques fair in Italy, but the number one tourist attraction is the church of San Francesco and the frescoes by Piero della Francesca. You will have a luch in the typical restaurant "il castello dei sorci" in Anghiari, a lovely medieval town lying between two rivers, the Tiber and the Arno. In the afternoon you will visit the city of Sansepolcro in Tuscany. | ![]() |
