Small Group Cooking Tours of Central Italy (Umbria and Tuscany)

Let's Cook in Umbria offers unique package itineraries for groups from 2 up to 10 persons in Central Italy.  Our tours include visits to well-known cities in Umbria and Tuscany such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Todi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Norcia, Siena, Cortona, Arezzo, e Montalcino but also to many less frequented towns and villages off the usual tourist itinerary.
In each tour there will be time for a culinary experience with wonderful cooking lesson in the farm! Seven days Culinary tours are a great way to combine your love of arts, wine, food and travel into an extraordinary experience.

You will have accomodation in the apartments of the farmhouse "La volpe e l'uva". It is in the beautiful heart of the Umbria valley, sourronded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees. Six independent apartments have been restored around the ancient stone house, which dates back to the 17th century. It is only 4km far from the historic centre of Perugia and offers a suggestive view of the Umbrian hills.

Our Cooking Tours of Italy

The tours are mainly focused on the gastronomic richness of the region; these include cooking classes, food and wine tours in some of the beautiful central Italy cities. In the cooking classes pasta, pizza, gnocchi are homemade, the olive oil and the wine are produced from the farm's own trees. We will teach you traditional Italian techniques of cooking and its history.
Visiting the most important city of the Umbria region you will known the Umbria's rich cultural and natural heritage: an ancient land which has for millennia been a crossroads of people and cultures. Umbria is the landscapes, that have over the centuries inspired Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Benedict of Norcia, the artists Michelangelo, Pinturicchio, Giotto and Perugino and the poets Byron and Carducci.
