Program of the 1 full cooking day in Umbria: cooking class and truffle hunting
10:00 Arrive in the country farm "la volpe e l'uva" in Perugia. Begin instruction, highlighting the history of Umbria cooking and presenting the day's menu. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves for hands-on preparation of a glorious meal.
13:00 Enjoy the fruits of your work! Eat the foods that you just created complemented by our wine and extra virgin olive oil.
15.00: The tour take place from 15.00 to 19.00. You will visit with a guide the wonderful city of Gubbio. Gubbio is a town located in the northeastern region along the Perugia province of Italy and it is found on the slopes of Monte Ingino. This place is known for its medieval palaces, churches and cathedrals and other historic buildings, which attracts the tourists.
After the tour of the city you will have the experience of the truffle hunting. You will understand the history and it’s secrets of the truffle, you will live the emotion of picking it in the woods, we will show you how to preserve the truffle and how to use it in cooking. Final truffle tasting with other umbrian specialities.
